History

The featured property, consisting of 701, 706 and 708 East Pine Street in Hattiesburg, Mississippi was developed in 1946 to house the corporate offices of a family-owned regional trucking company, West Bros. Motor Express, which was sold in 1970.

The 'main building' at 706 East Pine Street was constructed in 1971 to  house the corporate offices of another family-owned regional trucking company, Highway Express, which was in operation for 15 years. Since that time, the property has continued to house some family operations and has also leased offices and dock space to various tenants.
